La  The number 1 seed lived up to expectations. , but it took a fight.  Alexis Arette-Hourquet and Paul Dornberger  win the  P1000 FJ Lawyer / 4PADEL Challans  after having overturned  Guillem Perez Le Tiec / Jérémy Garcia (TS2)  in the final:  6/7 6/3 6/3 .

As in the quarter-finals, the favorites lost the first set before gradually taking control of the match.

A first set that went to a tie-break

 Arette-Hourquet / Dornberger  They started this final perfectly, though. Very aggressive, they quickly took the net and got the first break.

Opposite,  Jeremy Garcia  The match got off to a more difficult start, but the number 2 seed gradually found its rhythm. Well supported by  Guillem Perez Le Tiec Garcia regains his precision and the pair manages to erase their deficit.

The two teams meet at  tie-breaker Perez Le Tiec / Garcia negotiated this decisive game better and won it.  7-5  to take control of the final.

Dornberger is gaining momentum

TS1's reaction was swift.

In the second set,  Paul Dornberger is taking up more and more space Very consistent since the start of the match, he accelerates and makes the difference in the exchanges.

The third set resumed in the same vein. The two pairs cancelled each other out until...  2/2 , the moment chosen by TS1 to strike.

 Arette-Hourquet / Dornberger breakent  and definitively take control. Dornberger remains very consistent while Alexis Arette-Hourquet had a great end to the match , by clearly raising his level at the best time.

The number 1 seed no longer lets his opponents back in and finishes with another  6/3 .

Two comebacks to go for the title

This ability to react was one of Arette-Hourquet/Dornberger's strengths this weekend. Even in the quarter-finals, they had completely turned the game around.  Thalamot / Launcher  after losing the first set  6/1 , to finally impose itself  1/6 6/1 6/4 .

They repeated their success in the final and finished the tournament with the title.

A special victory for  Alexis Arette-Hourquet , who picks up at  23 years old, his first P1000 , after having passed close several times. For  Paul Dornberger The series continues, as this is already his  fourth P1000 title this season .

The TS1 had to work hard, but it leaves Challans with the trophy.
