The semi-finals of P1000 The Hangar kept all their promises this morning, with two big fights won by the seeds 1 and 2, who will meet this afternoon in the final from 14:30 p.m. on Padel MagTV.

Boronad / Verdier overthrow Dugardin / Roulleau

The first semi-final offered a stunning scenario. Yoan Boronad et Thibault Verdier (TS1) won 3/6 6/4 6/3 against Antoine Dugardin et Cyril Roulleau (TS3), at the end of a match full of tension and twists.

The match began with a difficult start for the top seed: numerous unforced errors, a struggling Thibault Verdier in defense, and an ultra-efficient Dugardin/Rouleau pairing at the net. As a result, the first set quickly went by 6/3 in 30 minutes.

But everything changed at 3/1 in the second set, when Boronad decides to go leftA tactical choice that paid off: the reflexes changed, Verdier regained his aggression, and the pair got back into the game. They came back together, won 6/4, and then dominated the final set 6/3 thanks to greater consistency in their play.

The stats confirm the newfound strength: 47 winning points against 39 for their opponents, and 3 converted station wagons on 8 occasions.

Arumi-Siquier / Chavey confirm in the face of the surprise Cipri / Alvergnas

In the other semi-final, Roger Arumi-Siquier et Marc-Édouard Chavey (TS2) had to fight to overcome the great surprise of the tournament, Alvergnas / Cipri (TS11), winners of the 4th and 5th seeds earlier in the competition.
Final score: 6 / 3 7 / 6 for the Arumi / Chavey pair.

Despite a closer second set, the outsiders, no doubt a little worn down by their big matches the day before, ended up losing with honors.

A promising finale at 14:30 p.m.

The final will therefore pit the two best pairs in the table against each other: Boronad / Verdier (TS1) face Arumi-Siquier / Chavey (TS2).
An enticing poster, especially on the right diagonal between Yoan Boronad et Roger Arumi, two players used to the international circuit, who promise a high-level duel.

Final to be followed live from 14:30 p.m. on Padel Magazine TV.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
