The P1000 Padel Sphere offers a challenging draw this week with several pairs capable of going all the way. The favorites on paper will be Tom Couturier / Arthaud Dumoulin (38th and 39th ranked French players), the highest-ranked pair. But there's a lot of competition behind them, and victory is far from certain.

Favorites

Behind them, two duos appear as the main contenders for victory:

  • Dufour / Pillon (89)
  • Motz / Dornberger (101)

These three teams form the first row of a table where the density is real.

The underdogs

Several pairs can create a surprise:

  • Gonzalez / Lelarge (120)
  • Peloux / Fabre (143)
  • Potel / Petitdidier (174)
  • Guy de Chamisso / Bernard (199)

The hybrid pair Fonteny / Seghiri (283), carried by the member of the French team, pair 10 of the tournament, should not be a danger to the tournament.

However, we'll need to watch out for Olivier Guy de Chamisso and Quentin Bernard. Just like at the FIP Promises Paris, we know Quentin is capable of playing at a very high level. Teaming up with his friend, now competing on the FIP Tour, anything is possible… even if going all the way would still be a surprise.

I discovered the Padel I stumbled into Spain at a campsite. I was instantly hooked; passionate about padel for the past three years, I follow international and regional news with the same excitement as the sport itself.
