Le  South Padel Bel Air Vailhauquès (Hérault) is hosting its traditional  P1000 male With several players in the French top 100 and a particularly evenly matched draw, the fight for the title looks wide open. If  Quentin Bernard and Raphaël Rubio  inherit the status of number 1 seeds, the pair  Paul Lefevre / Lucas Pillon Led by the tournament's highest-ranked player, the team fully intends to confirm its status.

 Bernard/Rubio are the favorites

Number 1 seeds,  Quentin Bernard (60)  et  Raphael Rubio (36)  They will enter the tournament as favorites. Both men are coming off a  A very impressive fourth place in the P1500 Padel 95 where they had put in a convincing performance against strong opposition. This momentum could allow them to go for another title this weekend.

 Lefevre/Pillon want to confirm

The number 2 seed will be composed of  Paul Lefevre (71)  et  Lucas Pillon (29) ,  the highest-ranked player in the tournament The two men will only be competing for their  third tournament together But the automatic processes already seem well established. Last May, they won the  P1000 Eva Padel from Rouen by dominating in the final  Mathieu Gonzalez and Thomas Brechemier A performance that naturally places them among the main contenders for the title.

A pair of experienced players, seeded #3

The third seed will  Thomas Mitjana (63)  et  Yann Auradou (70) Having been regulars at major events on the French circuit, the two players will form a particularly strong team.  Assistant coach of the French national team Yann Auradou will bring all his experience alongside Thomas Mitjana, with the aim of playing leading roles in Vailhauquès.

Cazes Carrere / Trancart in ambush

Seeded No. 4,  Thomas Cazes Carrere (82)  et  Nicolas Trancart (52)  They too will have a great opportunity. Regulars on the national circuit, they will try to take advantage of a tough draw to reach the semi-finals, or even further if the opportunities arise.

 Outsiders to watch

Behind the top four seeds, several teams could shake up the hierarchy.

The number 5 seed,  Romain Vial / Nicolas Molinero , has the necessary experience to aim for a place in the final four.

The pair  Julien Datcharry / Abelardo Vera Lopez  (TS6) will also be one to watch closely. The Spaniard  Abelardo Vera Lopez , ranked 25th in France, is one of the most dangerous players on the board and could take his team far in the tournament.

Finally  Gabriel Maril Beltran / Louis Jover  (TS7) as well as  Mehdi Chouchaoui / Basile Tardy  (TS8) will also have ambitions in a draw where each match could hold its share of surprises.

With a strong field and several credible contenders for the title, this 2026 edition of  P1000 South Padel Bel Air  should offer a particularly competitive padel weekend on the courts of Hérault.
