P1000 The Monkey quarter-finals Padel  They generally respected the hierarchy.  seeded 1, 2 and 3  They lived up to expectations and secured their place in the semi-finals. But as is often the case in this type of competitive tournament, one pair came along and upset the established order.

Rubio/Díaz and Gourre/Gerson delivered solid performances

La  seeded 1 ,  Raphael Rubio / Pedro Díaz , perfectly lived up to their status. Serious and focused, they prevailed in the quarter-final against  Tom Taieb / Frédéric Loriedo  and continue on their way without trembling.

The same applies to the  seeded 2 ,  Rémy Gourre / Derek Gerson , which also confirms its ranking by dominating  Pasquier / Prieto A performance that logically places them in the semi-finals.

 Suzanna / Piombo also confirm

La  seeded 3 ,  Théo Suzanna / Tristan Piombo , didn't let his chance slip away. Facing  Arthur Hugounenq / Théo Barthe They impose their rhythm and secure their qualification for the semi-finals.

The perfect shot for Perrot / Maril Beltran

The pleasant surprise of these quarterfinals comes from the  pair Mathis Perrot / Gabriel Alejandro Maril Beltran The number 12 pair in this tournament, they benefit from an open draw after the fall of the  TS4 Verdier / Datcharry eliminated in the round of 16 by  Dardaigne / Noblecourt .

But in the quarter-finals, Perrot and Maril Beltran went further: they dominated  Dardaigne / Noblecourt  and secure a well-deserved qualification for the semi-finals. A real  good shot which adds dynamism to the picture.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
