The Lorraine public was treated to two very different semi-finals this Sunday morning, but in the end, they were the seeds 2 and 4 who will meet to play for the title at VidaPadel.

Paumard / Durieux above

In the first semi-final, Paumard and Durieux did not tremble in the face of From Gardin / Roulleau, who defeated the third seed in the previous round. The favorites quickly set their pace, breaking at the right time to comfortably win 6/3 6/3. Solid in all areas of the game, Paumard and Durieux controlled the match perfectly, leaving little space for their opponents despite some good points.

Macchi / Bréchemier in three sets

The other semi-final offered more suspense. Opposed to Henry / Caspar, authors of the exploit of a big blow against the seeded 1, Bréchemier and Macchi had to fight. The first set was played without a single break point and ended in a one-sided tie-break (7-0) for Caspar / Henry, carried by a fiery Caspar.

The rest of the match turned in favor of Bréchemier / Macchi, who took advantage of a drop in form to quickly break and level at one set all (6/3). In the final set, the scenario remained tight, but Bréchemier and Macchi found the opening at 3-3 to escape. They saved break points late in the match and concluded 6/4.

A promising finale

The final will therefore oppose Paumard / Durieux (TS2) à Bréchemier / Macchi (TS4)Two confident pairs, with the clinical efficiency of Paumard and Durieux on one side and the resilience of Bréchemier and Macchi on the other. Join us from 15 p.m. on Padel MagTV to follow this last shock of the weekend.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
