On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Roland-Garros Stadium will open its doors to the general public for the Padel Festival, a day entirely dedicated to discovering padel. Organised by the French Tennis Federation, this event will mark the start of the Alpine Paris Major 2026, with a program combining introductions, exhibitions, celebrities, amateur competitions and tournament qualifiers.

Before the start of the main draw of the Alpine Paris Major (from September 6 to 13), the FFT intends to make this first day a real popular event, accessible to both enthusiasts and curious people wishing to discover one of the most dynamic sports of the moment.

Richard Gasquet, Fabrice Santoro and Lucas Pouille on Philippe-Chatrier

The highlight of the day will take place on the  Court Philippe Chatrier  with animation  "Team Tennis vs Team Padel – The duel of legends » .

Several iconic figures of French tennis will be present, including  Richard Gasquet, Arnaud Clément, Lucas Pouille and Fabrice Santoro who will face professional padel players in exhibition matches.

Playing padel… at Roland-Garros

Le Padel The festival will also offer an experience rarely offered to the general public:  play on the padel courts installed within the Roland-Garros grounds .

Throughout the day, qualified teachers will lead introductory and practice sessions open to all.

The sessions, lasting of  class will be accessible according to the principle of  first come, first served .
