In addition to the Rue Castagnary project and that of the 13th arrondissement, another site is currently under study to offer Paris more padel courts: the Stade Charles Rigoulot located near the ring road in the 15th arrondissement.

The town hall is currently thinking about installing several tracks to replace a bowling green and a tennis court. As always, the city faces a problem of space, but the location of the Rigoulot space eliminates the recurring problem of noise pollution.

As a reminder, the UCPA already offers 2 plots in the 19th. However, the city of Paris and the UCPA, which were banking on 6 courts at Castagnary Square for a budget of 1,6 million euros, have not yet been able to do so. And the French Tennis Federation is also working on setting up 2 padel courts.

The Rigoulot space could offer a more appropriate alternative solution for an intramural padel club project. Nothing has been decided yet, but what is certain is the determination displayed by municipal stakeholders to see padel make its appearance in the 15th arrondissement.
