A year later, the landscape has completely changed. After several months of internal discussions and adjustments, Premier Padel has regained a form of stabilityand the 2026 season starts in a much more peaceful climate.
The strong signal came very early: the registration of Coello and TapiaJust a few hours after entries opened. A clear message sent to the circuit… and to the public.
Coello–Tapia and Galán–Chingotto, the announced headliners
world number one will arrive in Gijón with their status as the dominant pair and that of big favorites to the title. The Asturian tournament will be an important step for them before the Valencia P1Indeed, two new tournaments that they must add to their list of titles.

Beyond the two leading players on the circuit, the organizers expect a particularly strong men's field, with the anticipated presence of all the other top pairs such as Lebrón / Augsburger, Stupaczuk / Yanguas, Di Nenno / Momo González, Paquito Navarro / Fran Guerrero or, Coki Nieto / Jon Sanz.
