This weekend, padel enthusiasts will undoubtedly have noticed an unusual detail: the Newgiza finals Premier Padel P2 matches are being played this Saturday, and not on Sunday as usual.

Behind this program change, there is a simple reason: the ultra-tight schedule of the world circuitThe Egyptian tournament had barely finished, the best male and female players in the world will head towards Kuwaitwhere will begin the World Pairs Championship Sunday November 2.

To allow them to travel, adapt to local conditions, and train before the event, Premier Padel has therefore decided to move the finals forward by one day. The Newgiza P2 will therefore conclude on Saturday, November 1stoffering the finalists a valuable day of transition before heading to the Gulf.

This is not the first time. Earlier this year, The Qatar Major also concluded on a Saturday, in order to allow time for players to join Brussels to compete in P2 the following week.

Between the heat of the Egyptian desert and the humidity of Kuwait, the athletes' bodies will be put to the test. The NewGiza P2 finalists will need to quickly find their rhythm.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
