The French achieved a  flawless performance in the Pretoria P1 qualifying round .  Thomas Leygue , associated with Spanish  Pablo Sanchez Vicente  and  Yoan Boronad / Timéo Fonteny  won their last match and secured their place in the main draw.

Two very good performances, including a great victory for the young French pair against  Miguel Lamperti  et  Iago Fuertes .

 Leygue and Sanchez Vicente were solid in key moments 

After their success  7 / 6 6 / 1  in the first round,  Thomas Leygue  et  Pablo Sanchez Vicente  confirmed in front of  Pepe Aliaga / Adrian Ronco Lopez .

The Franco-Spanish duo prevailed.  6 / 4 6 / 4 , thanks to a perfectly controlled scenario. In each set, Leygue and his partner quickly managed to break the opponent's serve before maintaining their advantage until the end.

They made the difference mainly on the important points, with  75% of break points converted An efficiency that allowed them to avoid any comeback from their opponents.

For a first partnership, the processes are already well established. After several challenging months,  Thomas Leygue returns to positive results  and continues with a new main draw on the circuit Premier Padel, after the one obtained at  Malaga .

The Frenchman and the Spaniard were able to take advantage of the opening in their section of the draw after the fall of the 3rd seed, but above all they perfectly seized the opportunity.

 Boronad and Fonteny bring down Lamperti and Fuertes 

Today's performance also comes from  Yoan Boronad and Timéo Fonteny .

The two young Frenchmen dominated  Miguel Lamperti , former world number 2, and the Spanish prodigy  Iago Fuertes Leonardo  on the score of  6 / 4 7 / 5 .

After their victory  7 / 5 6 / 3  In the first round, Boronad and Fonteny confirmed with a very solid performance against a pair who had eliminated the 7th seed the day before.

The French team managed to hold their own against Lamperti's experience and Fuertes' talent, making the difference in the decisive moments. A landmark victory that rewards their progress on the international circuit.

 A first for Boronad, a second for Fonteny 

This success allows  Yoan Boronad  to get his  first main table Premier Padel without wild cards this season .

For  Timeo Fonteny This is his second title obtained through qualifying, after the one he won at  Newgiza .

An important step for the two young players, who continue to accumulate experience and show that they can compete with established pairs on the circuit.

 A draw that could still favor the French 

The three French players are now waiting to find out who their opponent will be in the main draw.

A great opportunity might even present itself: one of the pairs from the qualifiers is due to face a  local wild-card  in the first round. In the event of a favorable draw, Leygue or Boronad / Fonteny could therefore have a real chance of continuing their journey in South Africa.
