On FIP Platinum Lyon qualifications started at All In Country Club. After an opening Monday marked by the forfeit of their opponents (David Vuong / Adlan Bounemoura), young people Thomas Basso (612) et Jeremy Robert (627) take the opportunity to go directly to the second round of qualifying, where they will meet this Tuesday the seeded 4, Mariano Agustín González San Martín (148) et Antonio Graupera (376).
All the French on track on Tuesday
It's that Tuesday that all of the French entered in qualifications will finally make their entrance into the competition, for a particularly busy day at the All In Country Club.
At men's :
- Arthur Hugounenq and his Spanish partner Juan Jose Dominguez, seeded 7, will face Rayane Akram Hamou (ALG) et Marco Antonio Quereda Moreno (ESP).
- Adrien Maigret et Olivier Guy de Chamisso will have a very large piece of entrance facing the seeded 1 Lorenzo Di Giovanni / Santino Giuliani.
- Wildcards Johan Peloux / Quentin Bernard, French U16 champions, will try to create a surprise against the seeded 8 Juan Ignacio Balzola Galvani / Francisco De Paula Núñez Gómez.
- Pierre Vincent / Damien Bayard, will make their entrance against Alejandro Calvo Pérez / Noé Sánchez Del Viejo (TS6).
- Nathan Courrin / Louis Jover will challenge the Spaniards Adrián Ronco López / Luis Oliver Artigas (TS5).
Three women's pairs for a place in the main draw
In the ladies, Anaise Rivière / Lucie Vichier will face the seeded 2 Bruna Albuquerque Melo / Carmen Azcoitia Mazo.
On their side, Steffi Merah et Marie-Amelie Dardaine, seeded 3, will benefit from a bye to the first round and will face either Letizia Dellagnese / Camilla Ronchini or Matilde Minelli / Daniela Portilla Gomez. Finally, the wild card French Chiara Messina / Elsa Pellegrinelli will face Noemi Sermant and Aurora Buscaino.
This Tuesday will therefore mark the real launch of the French qualifications in Lyon, with nine tricolor pairs on track and the ambition to secure a place in the main board why FIP Platinum, one of the most competitive tournaments of the season.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
