Le Milan P1 launched its qualifications this Saturday, with several French players competing to try to secure a place in the main draw.

Guichard and Pineda continue the adventure

Le French champion Dylan Guichard (138), associated with Spanish José Santiago Pineda (152), started his tournament well. Opposed to the Spanish Alberto Garcia Jiménez (106) et José Román Martínez Sanchis (192), they won in three rounds: 6/2 3/6 6/1.

A solid success which allows Guichard to offer himself, for the second consecutive time after the Germany P2, a chance to reach the main draw. The challenge will be a big one this Sunday against the 5th seed, Mario Del Castillo / Mario HueteWe will have to pull out all the stops to hope to qualify.

Bergeron and Blanqué disappointed

For Johan Bergeron (109) et Bastien Blanqué (109), the journey has already ended. The two Frenchmen lost in their opening match against the Spanish Pepe Aliaga (118) et Marcos González Blanco (166) : 6 / 2 6 / 4.

A frustrating defeat, especially since the Tricolores had a great opportunity against a lower-ranked pair. Like last week at Germany P2 (where they had fallen against Guichard in qualifying), Bergeron and Blanqué were unable to get past the first round.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
