Since the 2024/2025 season, the former Barban club has found a new dynamic under the name of tennis Padel Club La Seyne-sur-MerThis revival is supported by three partners with complementary profiles: Thomas Cavalier, sports director with 20 years of experience in teaching tennis, Maxime D'Orio, chef trained with starred chefs, and Julien lacroix, padel coach since 2012 and player ranked 70th in France.

A complete complex open to nature

Located in the heart of the Barban district, in a green setting, the club aims to be a place of sport and conviviality. He proposes eight tennis courts, three outdoor padel courts, “sports and leisure” area in the heart of nature, and a bar-restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine made from local products.

A strong commitment to acoustic respect

Particularity of the project: the development of padel was done in a logic of respect for the neighborhood. Located in a residential area, the club has invested in high-performance acoustic devices in order to limit noise pollution.
There’s nothing quite like a independent study was conducted before the installation of panels up to 4 meters high, designed to absorb and reflect sound in compliance with legal standards (maximum difference of 5 decibels compared to residual noise).

The results are encouraging: several homes located less than 40 meters from the land report the absence of significant noise disturbanceA significant investment — more than 100 euros — but which allows you to combine playing padel with the tranquility of the neighborhood.

A model to follow

By associating sports development et environmental responsibility, tennis Padel Club La Seyne-sur-Mer shows that it is possible to combine a rapidly expanding sport with a preserved residential environment.
A pragmatic approach that could inspire other clubs facing similar problems.
