The circuit  Premier Padel  officially opens its 2026 season in Riyadh with the  Riyadh Season P1 As with the two previous editions, Saudi Arabia hosts the first major event of the year, the starting point of an international calendar that will extend until the  Barcelona Finals .
This tournament also marks the entry into force of an important new regulation: the  Star Point , a new counting system adopted across the entire circuit from this season.

A crowded men's field right from the early rounds

In gentlemen,  48 pairs  are engaged, with the  16 first seeds  directly qualified for the second round.
Number 1 in the world,  Arturo Coello  et  Agustín Tapia  They begin the season continuing their momentum from 2025, which ended with thirteen titles, including the one won in Riyadh. They are logically among the main favorites.

Behind them, the competition remains structured around  Fede Chingotto  et  Ale Galán , No. 2 seeds, authors of a solid previous season, notably marked by a world championship in pairs.

The painting is also marked by several expected recompositions. The pair  Franco Stupaczuk / Mike Yanguas  marks his return to joint competition with the status of No. 3 seed.
Behind,  Juan Lebrón  teams up with  Leo Augsburg , While  Paquito Navarro  begins a new project alongside  Fran Guerrero .

A pivotal tournament for the women

The women's draw of the Riyadh Season P1 opens a new phase of the circuit, marked by a profound reorganization of the top pairs.
Number 1 seeds,  Delfina Brea  et  Gemma Triay  They approach this first tournament with a status to live up to in a very competitive context.

Behind them, the configuration of the painting could offer an unprecedented scenario: a confrontation between  Ariana Sánchez  et  Paula Josemaría , former partners and two-time title holders in Riyadh.
Now separated, they are evolving respectively with  Andrea Ustero  et  Bea González and could meet as early as the semi-finals depending on how the draw unfolds.
