Change of program for the first edition of R'Padel Major Originally announced with 480,000 euros in prize money , the tournament organized at R'Padel, in Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon will ultimately have to revise its allocation downwards in order to comply with the regulations applicable to P500 .
The club communicated this change before registration opened, while confirming that the event would still take place on November 15, 2026 .
Prize money limited to 1,000 euros in P500
When the tournament was first announced, the organization presented a total prize pool of 5 000 euros including 2,500 euros for the winning pair and rewards for the eight best teams.

The club will therefore not be able to offer the 5,000 euros initially announced .
"We therefore have to revise the financial allocation initially announced at €5,000. We wanted to inform you of this in a completely transparent manner before the opening of registrations," the organization explains.
The exact amount of the new allocation has not yet been communicated and will be announced soon.
The transition to P1000 was considered, but not possible for this edition
In an attempt to maintain a larger endowment, the organization explored another possibility: transform the R'Padel Major in P1000 .
A change of category that would have allowed the club to maintain a higher prize money, but which will ultimately not be able to be implemented for this first edition .
The R'Padel Major will therefore remain a P500 approved by the FFT .
The meeting on November 15th is still on
Although the funding may change, the club's ambition remains the same. R'Padel wants to make this first edition a real event , with a quality lineup, entertainment and organization that goes beyond the simple framework of the tournament.
The appointment is therefore still scheduled for November 15, 2026 in Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon in Haute-Loire.
After an initial, particularly ambitious announcement with its €5,000 prize fund, R'Padel chose to correct the situation before registration opened. The new prize money and the final format of this first edition will be announced soon.
