During its renewal with  Siux up to 2029 ,  Franco Stupaczuk  returned to the topic of the separation with  Martín Di Nenno Comments collected by  El Padel es Así in which the Argentinian explains the sporting reasons behind the end of a duo that left its mark on the circuit.

A benchmark pair on the circuit

super kids  have long been one of the strongest pairs in world padel. Relaunched in 2023, their version 2.0 project has led them to the  second place in the world , with a regular struggle against  Tapia / Coello  for a large part of the season.

The association lasted until mid-2024, before a separation followed by occasional reunions at the end of the year, concluding with a  semi-final at Premier Padel Barcelona Finals .

“Our rivals had found our weaknesses”

In this interview, Stupaczuk clearly acknowledges that the pair had reached a glass ceiling.

"That's padel for you. Our rivals had found our weaknesses. We were stuck in the semi-finals, which isn't bad, but we always aim higher."

A clear-eyed assessment for a team used to competing for titles, and which was no longer satisfied with regular appearances in the final four.

 The turning point with Yanguas

The end of the 2024 season was a factor in the decision. Associated with  mike yanguas Stupaczuk recorded two notable victories against  Chingotto / Galan , a pair that was then virtually unplayable for the entire circuit except  Coello / Tapia .

“With Mike, we had two tournaments where we beat Chingotto and Galán, a very tough pair that nobody could beat. That gave me the clue to choose Mike. Plus, I get along very well with him and he can still improve.”

 A new project, fully embraced

Stupaczuk's choice is therefore part of a logic of  progression  and  competitive renewal The Superpibes page remains strong, but the objective is now clear: to build with  Yanguas  a pair capable of getting past the semi-finals and establishing themselves in the race for major titles.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
