Carla Toully et Lucía Peralta Expósito concluded their Croatian week in style, winning the FIP Bronze Open Poreč-Parenzo on a clear score: 6 / 0 6 / 0 in just 40 minutes of play.
An expedited final
Seeded 1, the French and the Spanish dominated this final, leaving only no hope for their opponents Anna Schmid and Tetyana Dychka (TS8). Superior in all areas, intensity, precision, physical intensity, they delivered a lesson in regularity and efficiency.
Touly and Peralta did not concede no set over the entire tournament and only 8 games in four matchesDespite not the strongest opposition, they asserted their status with total domination.
A title for confidence and ranking
This new title, the 4th in FIP Bronze of the season for Carla Touly comes as a reward for the great consistency shown by the French this season.
Thanks to this victory, the champions offer themselves 40 FIP points, a precious gain which allows Carla to get closer to the world top 70.
Heading for FIP Platinum Lyon
Touly and Peralta will continue next week with the FIP Platinum Lyon (October 13-19), where they will be there pair n°18 of the main table.
A tournament of a completely different caliber awaits them, with much more intense opposition, but the Franco-Spanish pair will arrive in Lyon. in full confidence after this Croatian demonstration.
