For this World Padel Tour Estrella Damm Valencia Open 2019, a lot of teams broke to form new ones. Among them Pablo Lima with Alejandro Galan, Luciano Capra with Cristian Gutierrez, Ignacio G. Gadea with Agustin Tapia and the pair Miguel Lamperti with Juani Mieres will try to go to the end of the tournament with the trophy at the key.
As you can see, we linger with the gentlemen where the news is particularly hot there!
Estrella Damm Valencia Open 2019:
On this Sunday July 7, 2019, the pre-previas of World Padel Tour de Valencia started at 9am. With a temperature of over 35 degrees (the afternoon games were delayed by an hour by the organization of the World Padel Tour because of this unbearable heat) and high humidity the playing conditions are favorable to very aggressive players who keep the net as long as possible.
Remember that pre-previa players (pre-qualifications) have 3 games to win to enter the pre-previa (qualifications). Then they will have to win another 3 games to participate in the main draw. It's been 6 games in a row before having hope and still some strength to enter the final draw. The final draw will start on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at 9 a.m.
The final painting:
As usual for this year again the final table of World Padel Tour de Valencia offers us high quality matches with a lot of new pairs and a lot of ambitions for each of them. The biggest expectation of this tournament is probably going to be the pair Pablo Lima with Alejandro Galan. Seed number 3 this new pair nevertheless has a difficult part of the table! From the quarter-finals they will be able to meet the pair Stupa and Matias Diaz for a dream match! In case of victory, a possible meeting against Paquito Navarro and Juan Lebron in the semi-finals can be an explosive match! The Brazilian needs to replay matches to regain his confidence in the tournament. He will be very well supported because Galan has been in fusion for the last 4 tournaments. This team will offer us a mixture of softness and power!
Of course, to the great joy of all padel fans, the mythical Lamperti / Mieres pair is back! This is not an impressive team on the court (although) but on the other hand in attitude, in communication, and in the fight this team is a reference, an example for any padel team! Seeded number 4 in the tournament, Lamperti / Mieres is in the same part of the table as Maxi Sanchez and Sanyo! Anything is possible!
The Capra / Gutierrez pair will be the other monitored pair which ends up being seeded number 7! These last 2 years and in this first half of the season Gutierrez has played on the right and here he is back on the left as in the heyday. This announces a very consistent pair with 2 magic hands and above all a vision of playing by hand.
Also…
Some other pairs have formed either for a few tournaments or for a moment .. The unfortunate Tapia will be associated with Gadea (Gaucher player) for tournament while waiting to find his idol Fernando Belasteguin.
Following his separation from Gutierrez, Ramiro Moyano will team up with Juan Cruz Belluati (former partner of Pablo Lijo). See how this team will evolve to tickle the teams in front of them.
Pablo Lijo and Alvaro Cepero will meet again to join forces and try to get off to a good start.
Rafa Mendez / Diego Ramos and Maxi Gabriel / Aday Santana will be the 2 new teams of this very high profile.
Predictions:
Our forecast for the quarter-finals will be:
- Paquito / Lebron vs Chingotto / Tello
- Lima / Galan vs Stupa / Diaz
- Campagnolo / Bergamini vs Mieres / Lamperti
- Capra / Gutierrez vs Sanyo / Sanchez
Our prognosis for the semi-finals will be:
- Paquito / Lebron vs Lima / Galan
- Mieres / Lamperti vs Sanyo / Sanchez
Our prognosis for the final will be:
- Lima / Galan vs Lamperti / Mieres
A beautiful first win of Lima / Galan on this WPT Open Valencia would be right for this new pair!
