Among the men, Egypt has qualified for the World Championship which will take place in less than two months in Qatar: a first for an African country.

As we said during the FIP Star O West, padel is increasingly important in Egypt. As proof, the country organized this weekend the qualifying phase of the Africa/Asia zone. And the excellent surprise is that the locals won in the men's event.

Thanks to their victory in the final against Iran, the Egyptians will be able to fly to Doha, to compete in their very first World Championships. Padel ! A first for Africa, which until now had never had a representative in the final phase of the World Championships!

Among the women, the Egyptians were also present in the final but they were dominated by Japan.
