The Jules Ladoumègue Sports Center, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, is acquiring four padel courts planned before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

This project is the result of a collaboration between the Italian company NXPadel and the French company NGE.

Good news for the athletes who will be present at Club France, they will have new padel facilities nearby. If padel is not yet part of the Olympic Games for the moment, it is a safe bet that this sport, which is booming in many countries, will be the subject of discussion. There is still a long way to go, but many players are anticipating padel at the Olympics in 2032.

The choice of location for the City of Paris is not trivial; The Sports Center benefits from a strategic position near the Parc de la Villette. This park, one of the largest in Paris, hosts numerous cultural and scientific attractions such as the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, the Géode, the Cité de la musique and the Zénith de Paris.

The proximity of these major cultural facilities, combined with the arrival of the new padel courts, reinforces the attractiveness of this district, especially in view of the upcoming Olympic Games. During the games, the site will also serve as Club France, a place of celebration for the French medal-winning athletes and their supporters. We are obviously expecting a large number of fans, but also nearly 900 athletes.

The project is scheduled to be completed in June, ahead of the Olympic Games. The new facilities will provide residents and visitors with an additional opportunity to discover or practice padel, increasing the popularity of the sport in the French capital.
